The Shiba Inu, one of Japan’s oldest and smallest native dog breeds, has a history dating back over a thousand years, originally bred for hunting small game in Japan’s mountainous regions. Its name, meaning "brushwood dog," reflects its origins in the thick brush of Japan’s rugged terrain. The breed is highly valued for its agility, loyalty, and spirited personality, often described as "spirited boldness" (shibumi). The Shiba Inu holds a special place in Japanese culture as a symbol of loyalty and resilience, and it is cherished both as a family pet and as a national treasure.

European sizes and USA sizes differ. Size comparison is as follows.

In order to keep a low carbon footprint, we recommend you wash at a maximum of 30 degrees.

Do not use a tumble dryer (it's the worst).

Wash inside out and with similar colours.

Iron inside out and not on the print/embroidery.
